Local Municipalities Rapid Response Mechanism against Domestic Violence and VAW during COVID19

Project Description
Mass isolation and curfews such as under COVID19 increase the risk of domestic violence in general. In addition, in Georgia, many women are not aware of support services available. This project will provide legal and psychological online and phone support, raise awareness of available government domestic violence support services, and work with municipalities to develop response plans. It will focus on Shida Kartli and Samegrelo, including IDP and conflict affected populations.
Specific Objective
Increase access to existing services to prevent and respond violence against women and domestic violence in the context of COVID19
Expected Results
1. 10200 women and potential victims who have information about existing services;
2. 850 persons who installed 112 mobile application;
3. 270 persons who applied to state institutions;
4. 90 persons/families who received legal services;
5. 180 pesons/families who received psychological services;
6. 72 children who received art therapy sessions;
7. 8 municipal inter-agency commissions on VAW and DV created;
8. 8 Emergency response plans created;
