Digitalize Your Business – The EU and UNDP offer rural entrepreneurs a digital business incubation opportunity
The European Union (EU) and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) are inviting rural entrepreneurs from the Dedoplistskaro, Kazbegi, Lagodekhi and Tetritskaro municipalities to take part in the third round of the ‘Digitalize Your Business’ project.
Eight entrepreneurs, selected through a competitive process, will have an opportunity to join an incubation and mentoring programme that will prepare them for applying digital business tools in practice.
The incubation and mentoring programme will include training and consultation in an array of topics associated with business development and digital technology: business setup and management, branding, design, online marketing, online sales, communication, corporate websites, and digital tools and opportunities. In addition, rural entrepreneurs will receive support to create websites and other digital platforms for their businesses.
The initiative will be implemented by the Georgian organizations GeoLab, Innovation Support Foundation and GergArt, as part of ENPARD, a wider EU-funded programme for rural development.
The incubation programme follows a series of educational and networking activities for rural businesses held last summer. This included the online conference in July attended by over 120 participants and the business digitalization training in August for over 60 rural entrepreneurs.
Entrepreneurs interest in joining the incubation programme are invited to register before 18 September 2021 at the following link: https://cutt.ly/FW1Dyke
