The EU-funded project ‘Eastern Partnership civil society facility – regional actions’ has announced a call for experienced organisations to develop and deliver an online course on accountability in the energy sector for civil society organisations (CSOs).
The course should aim to improve CSOs’ understanding of how the energy sector works, its decision-making processes and funding, energy policies as well as relevant international commitments. The course should also allow CSOs to identify ‘entry points’ for lobbying and advocacy, and provide an overview of the consultations and complaint mechanisms of relevant bodies.
Applicants should have professional experience in developing online courses and curricula. They should also have relevant experience in the EU or the Eastern partner countries (Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, the Republic of Moldova and Ukraine) and a proven track record with the private sector, government agencies and CSOs.
