EU hosts Expert Discussions around Georgia’s European Perspective

Three experts on European Affairs engage with Georgia’s expert community, media representatives and youth to discuss the country’s European path and possible future developments.

Between 16-18 November, the Delegation of the European Union to Georgia hosted a series of events on the topic of Georgia’s European Perspective. The discussions included input from a team of experts on European affairs: Prof. Steven Blockmans, Dr. Tinatin Akhvlediani and Prof. Christophe Hillion.

During two discussion events, the three experts exchanged views both with the local expert community, including representatives of civil society and thinktanks, as well as with representatives of Georgian media.

Finally, a group of students and Young European Ambassadors engaged with the three experts at a panel discussion at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University. Additional questions and comments were taken from online participants of the fully livestreamed event.
