EU With You / ევროკავშირი შენთან

The EU’s partnership with the people of Georgia is over 30 years old. In 2026, we reaffirm our commitment to the people of Georgia by allocating €38 million to new projects to continue making a real difference in the lives of families and communities across Georgia.

Since 1992, the European Union has provided more than €2 billion to support progress across Georgia: by transforming agriculture, supporting people in remote areas to start their own businesses, improving Georgia’s air quality, and coordinating the upgrade of the East-West highway, among many other areas.

Due to Georgia’s democratic backsliding, the European Union no longer provides funding to the Georgian authorities. However, we continue delivering assistance to the people of Georgia.

The new projects will:
· Create economic opportunities in towns and small cities;
· Equip people with the skills for a changing labour market;
· Empower rural women, support family farms to earn more and improve food quality;
· Address violence against women and girls;
· Support safe and orderly migration;
· Strengthen climate adaptation and disaster preparedness; and
· Continue supporting communities living in Abkhazia.
