Georgian garment manufacturer Doctor Goods responds to pandemic with EU support

During the pandemic, demand for products by medical textile producer Doctor Goods increased rapidly. With support from the EU and the German Government, the company was able to purchase additional equipment and double their production. They also increased the number of employees fivefold, mainly employing people who lost their jobs due to the pandemic. Watch the video below to see the success story.
Background
Doctor Goods Ltd received funding within the framework of EU project Clusters 4 Development – Better Business Sophistication in Georgia, implemented by GIZ on behalf of the German Government. The project is implemented under the EU4Business initiative of the EU with aim to stimulate and support development of business clusters in three sectors: apparel,
