
Human Rights for All – Call for Proposals
The European Union and UNDP invite civil society organizations to take part in a grant contest.
The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), with funds from the European Union (EU) in Georgia, is announcing a grant competition for Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) to support civil society’s role in advancing human rights and promoting non-discrimination across Georgia under the joint initiative “Human Rights for All”.
What we aim to achieve
The objective of the grant competition is to support civil society initiatives in three key areas:
- Protecting fundamental freedoms and civic space.
- Promoting equality and inclusion for minority and vulnerable groups.
- Strengthening grassroots human rights initiatives, particularly in rural and minority-populated regions.
Who can participate
Eligible applicants shall meet the following criteria:
- Be a non-profit organization (civil society organization) registered in Georgia and provide organization’s registration certificate and statute;
- Have experience of working on human rights;
- Have sufficient capacity to execute the proposed application and operating experience of minimum one year.
How to take part
All application materials must be submitted electronically to nino.jomarjidze@undp.org, in both PDF format (signed and stamped) and Word format. Please ensure that the email subject line is labelled as “Grants for CSOs.”
The deadline for submission is 11 March 2025.
An information meeting with interested applicants to present detailed information about the preparation of proposals for submission will be held remotely on 4 March 2025, at 11:00 a.m. Interested parties shall send a preliminary request for participation in the meeting to the following email address nino.jomarjidze@undp.org
Additional questions can also be sent to the same email address nino.jomarjidze@undp.org. Potential applicants will receive answers to their questions within two working after sending the questions. All questions must be sent before 10 March 2025.
