Today is the International Day of Persons with Disabilities!
According to the WHO the global estimate for disability is 15 %. They deserve the same rights and opportunities as everyone else, but often struggle to keep up in schools, jobs, or everyday tasks. With the right approach and facilities in place, however, these challenges can be overcome. The first step is to be aware.
The EU supports several projects assisting persons with disabilities in Georgia with education, employment and coping with the COVID-19 pandemic.
