Diversity for an Inclusive Future
Project Description
“Diversity for an Inclusive Future” is a 36-month initiative led by HEKS-EPER Georgia and the Civic Education Teachers' Forum (CETF). The project aims to support social cohesion in Georgia by promoting cultural diversity and encouraging interaction and mutual understanding between different communities, including ethnic and religious minorities. A particular focus is placed on the use of shared cultural heritage as a tool for dialogue and connection.
The action promotes community engagement, improves access to publicly available information, and supports local initiatives that encourage cultural exchange and cooperation. Activities are implemented through participatory and collaborative approaches, involving community groups, educational institutions, cultural actors, and local partners.
Key activities include capacity development, co-creation processes, Social Laboratories, informational and awareness-raising initiatives, Financial Support to Third Parties (FSTP), and youth-focused cultural exchange programmes. In addition, the project pilots innovative tools to improve access to publicly available services and information.
By bringing together different groups and sectors, the project contributes to shared experiences, dialogue, and respect for diversity across communities in Georgia.
