2020 Youth4Regions competition for aspiring young journalists: discover what the EU is doing in your region

29/05/2020

If you are a journalism student or a young journalist and you are interested in what EU regional policy is doing in your region, you can take part in the Youth4Regions competition. The application period runs from 6 April until 13 July, 17:00 CET.

The European Commission’s Directorate General for Regional and Urban Policy (DG REGIO) wishes to encourage journalism students and young journalists to learn about Regional Policy and to communicate on European solidarity and concrete projects co-funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and the Cohesion Fund (CF).

The call for applications is open to citizens of EU Member States as well as EU neighbouring countries.

Selected applicants will have the opportunity to receive trainings on journalism and EU regional policy and mentorship from established journalists, visit the EU affairs media headquarters and EU institutions, or take part as a journalist in European Commission press trips to Member States.
