Call for Grants: EU4Dialogue Component 2 Grant Scheme – Round 2
“EU4Dialogue: Support to Conflict Transformation in the South Caucasus and the Republic of Moldova” project, implemented by the UNDP and funded by the European Union, is announcing a call for proposals under the South Caucasus grant scheme for civil society organizations to improve the living conditions, promote socio-economic development and enhance human security in conflict-affected communities across the region.
The conflict-affected communities in the South Caucasus often experience severe living-standard challenges, including poor access to quality health and education services, unstable livelihood opportunities and impeded human security, with often debilitating impact on their living conditions. Better socio-economic conditions and improved human security for conflict-affected communities remain an imperative for building a durable foundation for conflict transformation.
The broad aim of the call for proposals is to respond to the socio-economic and human security challenges in conflict-affected communities in South Caucasus, with an emphasis of driving progress towards gender equality and improving the prospects of children and youth and the most vulnerable groups of society.
Grants will be awarded to nascent and/or grassroots-level civil society organizations to implement solutions to local-level priorities identified in a participatory and gender-sensitive review of local challenges and opportunities.
Applications are now open for projects implemented in Georgia. The deadline for applications is January 23, 2022. The details of the Call for Proposals can be found on the UNDP Procurement website. Further calls for proposals will be forthcoming.
