Pavilion 3 – Education and Interactive sessions

Since 2015, the Best Documentary Photo Reflecting Shared Values category of the EU Prize for Journalism has captured Georgia’s transformation—highlighting human rights, democracy, equality, and the rule of law.

The photo exhibition features seven winning photographers whose powerful images tell the story of a nation and the values it shares with the EU.

Europe Day 2025 - 10 Years in focus

The EU has launched Bookshelf European Edition in Georgia, an interactive educational initiative designed to bring European culture, history, and values closer to young people. The initiative will travel across various regions of Georgia, engaging youth through innovative and dynamic learning experiences and will be featured in Tbilisi on Europe Day.

The audio-visual program highlights the role of civil society in both the modern era and during the 19th century. It portrays civil society as the backbone of the state and emphasizes the importance of shared responsibility among citizens.

Through immersive storytelling and interactive techniques, the program conveys three main messages of the ‘This Country is Yours’ campaign:

  • European values are an integral part of Georgian tradition and culture.
  • The significant role of civil society in the development of Georgia.
  • The idea that this country belongs to each of its citizens, and caring for it is a shared responsibility among all of us.
