The Puppet Show “Luna and the Planet of Fireflies”

The puppet show is directed by Tato Geliashvili. The author of the script, which is based on the book of the same name by Dato Gorgiladze, is a writer and playwright Alexandre Lordkipanidze. The puppets for the show were designed by Armen Oganesyan.

“Luna and the Planet of Fireflies” is a story created for children aged 7-10 and their parents and it tells the story of an ordinary family surrounded by magic adventures, in which parents share the responsibilities for caring for their children as well as for doing household chores; the parents support and encourage cheir children as they believe that each of them is unique and special, regardless of their gender. The content of the show reminds young ones and their parents that taking care of their closest people and coping with common challenges together is the basis of happiness and harmony in any family.
