TA Support to Waste Management and Development of Circular Economy in Georgia
Project Description
The main objective of the project is improved protection of the environment and health of the population in Georgia.
The should be obtained through:
1. Promote waste prevention and minimisation concepts (sorting/recycling/reuse of wastes) to improve waste management practices.
2. Support the introduction of the concept of “Green”/Circular Economy in the society and the economic activities.

1. Improved waste management services in order to reinforce circular economy in Georgia
2. Capacity development of public and private sector for the implementation of Extended Producers Responsibility (EPR) systems
3. Facilitation/promotion of existing waste management information database system

Expected Results
