The project is set to enhance air quality, thus safeguarding the health of citizens. This will be achieved by bolstering the capacity to monitor, analyze, and regulate air quality. Specifically, the action aims to strengthen national capabilities in monitoring and analyzing air quality, as well as in regulating industrial emissions.

Expected Results
1. Strengthened national capacities, infrastructure, and tools for air quality monitoring, modelling, forecasting, and data quality management.
2. Developed national frameworks and tools for gender equality and social inclusion in air quality monitoring, along with capacity-building for their effective implementation.
3. Enhanced enabling environment, knowledge, and implementation capacities of decision-makers and industry representatives in regulating industrial emissions.
