People Behind EU Support in Georgia: Stories of Change

The European Union’s support in Georgia extends far beyond its policies and programs; it impacts lives, fuels dreams, and drives change in communities across the country. “Stories of Change” is a video series that brings you closer to the individuals whose lives and livelihoods have been transformed by EU initiatives. These are stories of hope, resilience, and innovation, told by the very people who have benefited from the support by the EU.

For more than three decades, the EU has been a steadfast supporter of Georgia’s democracy, peace and prosperity. As Georgia’s largest foreign donor, the EU provided and continues to provide significant investments, which are enhancing quality of life nationwide. The series features diverse stories, from farmers adopting modern techniques to entrepreneurs in vulnerable regions. They reflect systemic improvements driven by EU-backed projects, including reforms, sustainability efforts, and educational opportunities.

As Georgia’s key trading partner, the EU upholds high standards while promoting Georgian heritage and creating opportunities for Georgians to engage with Europe. Each story in the series highlights the courage and creativity of individuals who, with EU support, have achieved remarkable success and contributed to Georgia’s future.
Watch the stories and discover the people behind EU support in Georgia—people who are making a difference in this country.
