Women from Shavshvebi IDP Settlement

13 years ago, the August war 2008 forced Galina, Maguli and their families to flee their homes and move to the Shavshvebi IDP settlement. This is an inspiring and emotional story of two strong women who, despite all the difficulties and challenges managed to rebuild their life from scratch. Galina and Maguliare are now running a sewing salon, opened with the support of the EU, and use all their resources to empower other women from their settlement, especially in this challenging time of COVID-19.
