Within the framework of the EU–UN joint project Human Rights for All, the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) invite youth for the Human Rights Winter School.

The Winter School will take place from 29 November to 4 December 2026.

What will you learn at the Winter School?

  • The importance of human rights in a democratic society;
  • Human rights protection institutions, their roles and challenges;
  • Building an equal and diverse environment where everyone’s voice is heard;
  • Freedom of expression – how to stand up for your own voice while respecting the voices of others;
  • The right to privacy and the importance of personal data protection.

The programme will include lectures, discussions, presentations and group exercises. Participants will have the opportunity to develop their communication and presentation skills through practical activities.

  • Are able to attend the entire programme.

Applications from students and graduates of regional universities are particularly welcome.
