A Large-scale Job Fair Organized in Batumi with the European Union Support

Job Fair - დასაქმების ფორუმი

A large-scale Job Fair organized by the Education Development and Employment Center and the Employment Agency of the Autonomous Region of Adjara within the framework of the EU-funded project “Learn, Exercise, Achieve, Receive, Network for Employment! (LEARN for Employment!)” will take place at Sunset Batumi (in front of the House of Justice, at the Lake Ardagani, Batumi) from 11:00 to 15:00 o’clock, on Tuesday, June 15, 2021.

The Job Fair is organized in partnership with the State Employment Support Agency (SESA) and the UN Association of Georgia (UNAG).

59 small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and large corporations from Adjara will present more than 900 current vacancies. Job opportunities will be presented by service, trade, distribution, hotel and restaurant, industrial, transport, logistics, construction, finance, insurance, health and education companies and job seekers have the chance to convince potential employers of their skills and apply for open positions right at the fair.

Moreover, the event will be attended by educational institutions which will offer participants opportunities for professional skills development. Bringing together educational institutions and employers also gives them a great chance for networking and planning future cooperation.

People interested in the job fair can register until June 14 through the following link: https://forum.hrajara.gov.ge.

The EU-funded project “Learn, Exercise, Achieve, Receive, Network for Employment! (LEARN for Employment!)“ is implemented by the Education Development and Employment Center (EDEC), the Telavi Education Development and Employment Center (TEDEC), the Employment Agency of the Autonomous Region of Adjara (EAARA), Abkhazintercont (AIC) and the Guria Youth Resource Center (GYRC).

The UN Association of Georgia (UNAG) joins the job fair as part of the ongoing EU-funded project “Local Investments in Networks for Knowledge and Skill-share (LINKS)” implemented in cooperation with the Open Society Georgia Foundation (OSGF); the Independent Journalists’ House is their local project partner in Adjara.
