On 9 May 2025, visitors gathered at Expo Georgia to celebrate Europe Day and experience how the European Union has partnered with the people of Georgia for over 30 years. Europe Day offered a moment to reflect on all that has been achieved together — and the future we continue to build, hand in hand.
This year, Europe Day, celebrated annually on 9 May, marked the 75th anniversary of the 1950 Declaration by Robert Schuman, then French Foreign Minister — a milestone that laid the foundation for what we now recognise as the European Union (EU). In Georgia, the event reaffirmed the EU’s ongoing commitment to supporting the people of the country.
The Official Opening Ceremony took place in Pavilion 11 at 12:00, and the day concluded with a special live concert by Bedford Falls.
