June 1 – International Child Protection Day
On June 1, we mark International Child protection day.
The EU is proud to be working for children’s rights in Georgia together with the Government and CSO sector on issues such as establishing, implementing and strengthening child protection policies, developing child rights protection instruments, and ensuring necessary services for their growth and progress.
Some of our more recent assistance is helping Georgia moving away from a system of institutionalised child care to foster care in families. Find out about this work in the videos below, as well about our other projects further down.”
