ENPARD Grants
The EU and Sweden funded program “Support to the food safety and SPS sector” under ENPARD IV builds on previous experience of projects implemented with EU funding, such as the ones implemented by FAO under the first three phases of ENPARD.
In the fourth phase of the initiative, the focus lies on assisting primary producers and food business operators (FBOs) to adapt their skills, equipment, and premises to comply with the new SPS/food safety regulations.
FAO, under the EU and Sweden-funded ENPARD IV program, will implement support packages aimed at providing farmers and food business operators with technical knowledge on food safety as well as food safety-related equipment through a matching grant scheme.
Different support packages will be implemented, each of them with unique objectives and diverse ways to apply. Please find details of all support packages in the corresponding sections below. Applications can only be received during a limited period of time. Please refer to the official announcements on FAO Facebook page to learn about the applicable deadlines.
Please find all information about the matching grant procedures on the following link: Grant Manual.
FAO is committed to ensuring the most transparent approach to the grant management process, in line with the organization’s ethical commitments. FAO Georgia office has established a Grievance Review Mechanism (GRM) to provide beneficiaries of FAO programmes with a transparent, effective, and timely mechanism to provide feedback and voice their concerns. More details about the GRM can be found here: GRM Guidelines.
